The Business Journal published an article, saying that the producers of the third installment of the "Transformers" movie franchise (Transformers 3) will be filming scenes in Milwaukee and are looking for "executive types" to serve as paid extras in the movie.
Hollywood director Michael Bay plans to use the Milwaukee Art Museum and the Tower Automotive site as locations for the shoot July 12-13, said Dave Fantle, vice president of public relations for Visit Milwaukee, the local convention and visitors bureau.
A casting call for paid extras will be held June 26 from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Hilton Milwaukee City Center in the Wright Ballroom. According to a press release, producers are seeking female and male "trendy executive types" and are asking prospects to "look their executive best."
